I was in an accident while I was driving for my job. Does this count towards workers compensation?

In many cases if you are in an accident before you physically step foot in your employer’s job site, it will not be considered work related for purposes of workers’ compensation.  The same is true for injuries that take place once you’ve left the workplace.  If you have been injured outside the workplace, but it is connected to your job—such as if you were going to meet a client or if you were talking with a client while driving, then you may be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits.  This however, is on a case by case basis.
