My car was hit in the rear. Who is at fault?

 

A: Generally speaking if you are hit in the rear by another vehicle it is the driver of that other vehicle is at fault. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. For example if you are backing up and you struck the vehicle behind you then it would be your fault.
