Middletown, NJ - Route 35 was shut down briefly on Wednesday night after a two-car crash trapped one of the drivers. The crash occurred approximately 8:30PM at the corner of Tindall Road and Route 35. Two cars were involved, with one vehicle completely flipping over, trapping its driver who needed to be extricated and transported by helicopter to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. His present condition is unknown. The other driver apparently sustained less serious injuries and was transported by local EMS to Riverview Medical Center.
