BAYONNE -- Funeral arrangements have been set for a Hudson County Prep science teacher and his young daughter who were killed in an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike Monday.

A service will be held for Tim O'Donnell, 48, and Bridget O'Donnell, 5, on Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Paul II church in Bayonne at 11 a.m.

On Monday, O'Donnell's 2001 Chevrolet Malibu was slowing with traffic at the 14C toll plaza when he was rear-ended by a 1998 Mercedes-Benz driven by Scott Hahn, of Hamilton.

Hahn, 36, has been charged with two counts of manslaughter and vehicular homicide. NBC's News4 New York has reported that Hahn had a long list of motor vehicle violations.

O'Donnell taught chemistry and physics to sophomores, juniors and seniors at County Prep, one of the Hudson County Schools of Technology. Bridget attended the school's daycare program.

Yesterday, students and staff mourned the loss of the beloved teacher and sweet little girl.

Online fundraisers have been set up to help the O'Donnell family. A YouCaring page has already raised more than $26,000, while a GoFundMe page has collected nearly $4,000.

St. Paul II is located at 39 East 22nd Street.
